UP: Major explosion at firecracker factory, over 12 people feared to be buried

Firozabad:A massive explosion took place in a firecracker factory in Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad district late on Monday evening. As per initial reports, more than 12 people are believed to be buried under the debris.

The police, fire brigade and senior officials reached the spot soon after receiving the information and started rescue operations. Locals have also reached the spot to lend their support in the incident. Some of the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
