Air ambulance from AIIMS Rishikesh crashes in Kedarnath; all three occupants safe

New Delhi: A helicopter operating as a air-ambulance from AIIMS Rishikesh to Kedarnath crashed just moments before landing near the Kedarnath helipad on Saturday. The incident occurred approximately 20 metres short of the designated landing area.

The helicopter, which was part of a medical emergency service, had arrived in Kedarnath to evacuate a patient in need of urgent care. Onboard were two doctors from Delhi and the pilot. Fortunately, all three individuals escaped the crash unharmed.
