New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting meeting Chief Ministers and and lieutenant governors of various states and Union Territories at Niti Aayog in New Delhi on Monday. Most of the chief ministers from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and others attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister was also seen interacting informally, sharing smiles and laughter with all chief ministers, including individuals, who belong to even Opposition parties. He was seen interacting and sharing laughter with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu (whose TDP is part of NDA government at the Centre), Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma, among others.

Centre, states must work like Team India: PM Modi

Addressing the event, the Prime Minister said that if states and the Centre work like Team India, the goal is not impossible. There is a need to raise the speed of development, he noted.”We have to increase the speed of development. If the Centre and all the States come together and work together like Team India, no goal is impossible,” Niti Aayog said in a post on X quoting PM Modi.
