New Delhi: UFC’s next flagship event will take place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on October 26, Saturday. UFC Featherweight Champion Ilia Topuria will be returning to the octagon for the second time this year. The first time he won the Featherweight title against Alexander Volkanovski and now he will be defending his title against Max Holloway.
Topuria shocked the world in his last fight where he knocked out Volkanovski in the second round. Holloway also coming from a knockout victory against Justin Gaethje to become the new BMF champion. Holloway fought for the Featherweight title thrice but never won the title in his career. This time he will be looking to win the featherweight title.
In the co-main event, Khamzat Chimaev is making his return to the octagon after a year. Last time, he fought against Kamaru Usman and won the fight by unanimous decision. Chimaev will be against Robert Whittaker who is currently on a hot streak.
Whittaker knocked out Ikram Aliskerov on a 10-day short notice. He will be fighting for the third time this year and will be looking to beat Chimaev to get a shot at the middleweight title. Chimaev vs Whittaker will be also a title eliminator fight.
