Jaipur: A shocking incident occurred in Rajasthan’s Jaipur when a moving car suddenly caught fire, as captured in a viral video. The footage shows the flaming vehicle speeding along the road, prompting onlookers to flee in fear. Several other vehicles were also in motion nearby, adding to the chaos.

In the video, the driver, identified as Jitendra, can be seen pulling the handbrake and jumping out of the car to escape the flames. Despite his quick actions, the car continued to roll down the road uncontrollably. Eye witnesses said that drivers ahead and behind the burning vehicle panicked, rushing to avoid the hazardous situation near Ajmer Pulia.

Terrified two-wheelers flee

Two-wheeler riders also abandoned their bikes in a bid to escape the advancing flames. The incident took place in the afternoon near the elevated bridge at Jaipur’s Sodalala Sabzi Mandi. It began when Jitendra noticed smoke coming out from the vehicle, which quickly escalated into a fire, engulfing the car in flames and creating a thick cloud of smoke.

Firefighters extinguish blaze

Despite his efforts to stop the car, it continued rolling until it collided with a divider and caught fire. Fire brigade personnel arrived on the scene and worked hard to extinguish the flames. Authorities believe that a short circuit was the cause of the fire. The incident resulted in significant traffic congestion, which police managed to clear by allowing other vehicles to pass.
