New Delhi: In recent times, conversations about toxic bosses are common on social media. One X user posted a shocking chat between an employee and their boss. The boss told the employee that death in the family was the only excuse that could be accepted if they were to come in late.

A user named @kirawontmiss shared the screenshot of the chat with the caption, “What would y’all respond with if your manager says this?” In the chat, the employee sent a picture of his damaged car. The image clearly showed that the employee suffered a major accident. Instead of enquiring about the employee’s well-being, the manager replied, “Keep me updated on what time you’re expecting to be here.” Later, the inconsiderate manager sent a long message to the employee, stating that being late to work because of an accident was inexcusable.
