No party in country more dishonest, deceitful than Congress: PM Modi at Haryana rally

Kurukshetra: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that the people of poll-bound Haryana has decided that BJP will score a hat-trick in the upcoming Assembly elections in the state. Addressing an elections rally in Kurukshetra, the Prime Minister urged the people of the state to help BJP former a government fir the third time.

“I urge you all to help BJP form a government again (in Haryana). You helped me to serve you all for the third consecutive time in Delhi, and looking at the excitement and enthusiasm here, it is clear that Haryana has decided for BJP’s hattrick this time,” he said at the public rally.

Haryana is set to hold Assembly elections in single phase on October 5 and the counting of votes will be done on October 8. The elections in the state is being seen as a direct fight between the BJP and the Congress. The BJP is hoping to form government in the state for the third consecutive time while the Congress is looking to unseat the ruling government and cash in on the anti-incumbency factor.

Top quotes of PM Modi from Kurukshetra rally

  • Haryana’s neighbour is Himachal Pradesh where Congress formed the government couple of years ago. However, no one is happy in Himachal Pradesh now, and Congress made fake promises for every section of the society there. Congress didn’t fulfil even one of its promises and government employees are forced to go on strikes for their salaries.
  • We have seen that era of Congress government… the money meant for development was limited to only one district. Not only this, every child in Haryana knows in whose pockets that money went into. BJP has connected entire Haryana with the stream of development.
  • Congress never bothers about the problems of the people. There is no other party in the country that is more dishonest and deceitful than the Congress. Congress party has only one policy- empty the public treasury to win the elections. Congress’ politics has reduced to spreading falsehood and anarchy in country.
  • Congress made hue and cry over MSP, I ask them how many crops they buy at MSP in Karnataka and Telangana. Did any farmer receive money in their accounts during Congress rule.
