New Delhi: In a dramatic escalation of a high-profile feud, Raj Shekhawat, chief of the Kshatriya Karni Sena, has announced a substantial cash reward for prisoners for the killing gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. This startling announcement comes days after the Karni Sena offered the same reward, Rs 1,11,11,111, for police officials to eliminate Bishnoi in an encounter.
Shekhawat, in a video message shared on social media, defended his motives, addressing criticism from a news channel and reiterating the reward for police action against Bishnoi. But he didn’t stop there. In an unprecedented move, he extended the reward to any inmate who kills Bishnoi within the confines of Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad, where Bishnoi is currently housed.
“The prize of Rs 1,11,11,111 that I announced will be given to the policeman who will eliminate Lawrence Bishnoi in encounter. Additionally, if any prisoner, or warrior, jailed in Sabarmati jail kills Lawrence Bishnoi, the same reward will be given to him by the Kshatriya Karni Sena,”Raj Shekhawat said in the video.

Bishnoi is currently facing charges of cross-border drug smuggling and is a central figure in a series of high-profile crimes that have gripped the country. His name was previously linked to a firing incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai, although Mumbai Police could not take him into custody.
The Karni Sena alleges Bishnoi was responsible for the murder of their chief, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, in Jaipur in December 2023. Bishnoi’s gang has also claimed responsibility for the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique in Mumbai and the firing incident outside Salman Khan’s house, adding further fuel to the fire.
Bishnoi’s alleged involvement in these incidents has placed him at the center of a complex web of crime, threats, and political tensions.
