Mumbai airport receives hoax bomb threat ; caller arrested

An anonymous caller made a bomb threat to the Mumbai Police Control Room on Tuesday morning, claiming that Mumbai Airport would be blown up.

Immediately after the caller made a bomb threat call, he was traced and arrested by the MIDC Police. The Police have identified as as Manjeet Kumar Gautam, 35 years old. He had called the control room and said, “I will blow up Mumbai Airport at 2 PM today.”

According to the police, the accused hails from Uttar Pradesh and is currently living in the Sakinaka area of Mumbai. The police have arrested him and are questioning him. The police have also launched an investigation into the case to reveal the reason behind the bomb threat.
