New Delhi: Ilia Topuria knocked out Max Holloway at UFC 308 in Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi on October 27, Sunday. Topuria shocked everyone by becoming the first fighter to knock Holloway. In the co-main event, Khamzat Chimaev returned to the ring after a year and submitted Robert Whittaker in the first round.
Every fighter on the UFC 308 card gave a great performance, and UFC President Dana White also praised fighters by giving them a good paycheck. Seven fights out of 13 at UFC 308 were finished inside the distance.
UFC Featherweight champion Ilia Topuria was the highest-paid fighter at UFC 308. Topuria took almost a whopping $3.9 million home including the bonus of $50,000. The bonus was part of Performance of the Night as Topuria won that award also.
The BMF Champion Max Holloway lost the title fight, despite his total payout crossing $2.4 million. Holloway was knocked out for the first time in his MMA career. Chimaev is the third highest-paid fighter at UFC 308 as he took almost over $1 million.

What next for Ilia Topuria
Ilia Topuria successfully defended his featherweight title for the first time. Topuria has now knocked out the two best fighters in the division and he has defeated all opponents in the featherweight division. After the fight, Alexander Volkanovski came to meet Topuria and demanded his rematch and Topuria said yes to the rematch.
But Topuria is also very much interested in fighting in the Lightweight division. He wants to be the first fighter to submit lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. Makhachev is suffering from an injury and yet to make his return to the octagon. Let’s wait and watch how things work in UFC.
