Hyderabad: Residents of the Krishna Drinking Water Supply Project (KDWSP) Phase III area of Hyderabad should be prepared for a temporary disruption in their drinking water services this Thursday, October 24. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board has announced that the water supply will be interrupted from 6 AM Thursday until 6 AM on Friday, totaling 24 hours.
This planned shutdown is crucial for performing necessary repairs on a 2,375mm-diameter MS pumping main to fix existing leaks, as per the official statement by the water department.

MD inspects Hyderabad’s ongoing sewerage projects
Meanwhile, in a related news, HMWSSB, MD Ashok Reddy recently conducted an inspection of ongoing sewerage projects in Hyderabad as part of a 90-day initiative led by Jalmandali to enhance the city’s sanitation efforts. His visit focused on the Gauliguda and King Kothi neighborhoods, which are managed by O&M Division 4.
