New Delhi: Marvel comic book fans have always hoped for a Spider-Man Vs Venom showdown. However, in the current phase of the MCU, fans do not expect this miracle. When asked about this iconic showdown on screen, Venom‘s Tom Hardy expressed his desire to go up against Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.
During the 2024 Comic-Con’s showcase for the upcoming movie Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy revealed that he would never say no to a fight with the MCU’s favourite character. Here is what the actor had to say.

Tom Hardy’s Venom 3 is set to release on October 25, 2024. In the Venom 3 trailer, Eddie Brock’s nemesis Krull was seen in his iconic long white hair look. Tom Hardy will be returning as the half human half symbiote, Venom for what is the last movie in the popular franchise. So, Tom Hardy’s desire to go head-to-head with the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is likely not to come to fruition in the near future. “I would love to fight Spider-Man. I would love to fight him now. I’m happy to fight Spider-Man today, 100 per cent. I would never say never,” said Tom Hardy.

However, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is likely to return for a fourth instalment. In September 2024, Tom Holland teased Spider-Man 4 and said that the script was ready but needed to be refined. So, the possibility of Tom Hardy’s Venom coming back for one last hurrah in the upcoming Spider-Man movies is a possibility.
If it were to come true, the highly-demanded crossover might be just what Marvel Studios needs to give their declining franchise a kickstart. Fans have been begging to incorporate Venom and Spidey’s fight into the timeline for years now, it is up to the Feige brothers to bring the dream to life.
