New Delhi: The shares of Prestige Estates Projects, Zomato, Ceat, Tata Communications, Tata Consumer, ICICI Lombard, ZEE, ICICI Lombard,  Jio Financial, Tata Consumer are expected to be in news on October 18, 2024 (Friday).

Prestige Estates Projects share price

The shares of Prestige Estates Projects Ltd are likely to be in focus today. In its Q2 Results of 2024-25, the realty firm after sales bookings declined 43 per cent to Rs 4,022.6 crore. The company informed the exchanges that it recorded sales of Rs 4,022.6 crore during the second quarter of the current financial year. It was Rs 7,092.6 crore in the year-ago period.

During the April-September quarter of 2024-25, the sales bookings of Prestige Estates Projects dropped to Rs 7,052.2 crore against Rs 1,100.73 crore during the second quarter of the preceding financial year.

Zomato share price

The shares of Zomato will be in news today on Thursday after the food delivery platform announced that its board will consider fundraising through qualified institutional placement (QIP) on October 22. The board will consider and approve the “raising of funds by issuance of equity shares by way of qualified institutional placement, as may be permitted under applicable laws, subject to such regulatory/statutory approvals, including the notice for the postal ballot for obtaining the shareholders’ approval in this regard, as may be required,” Zomato said in its statement.

Ceat share price

Tyre maker Ceat shares are likely to be in focus after it reported that its consolidated profit after tax dropped 42 per cent year-on-year to Rs 121 crore. The tyre manufacturing company’s revenue from operations increased to Rs 3,304 crore in the April-September quarter compared to Rs 3,053 crore in the year-ago period.

In a regulatory filing, Ceat recorded a PAT of Rs 136.5 crore against Rs 199 crore in the second quarter of 2024-25. The standalone revenue from operations was reported at Rs 3,298 crore compared to Rs 3,043 crore a year ago. “This quarter marks our highest revenue ever, driven largely by robust performances in our replacement and international sectors. While there is a significant increase in the commodity prices, our margins got impacted during the quarter,” Ceat MD and CEO Arnab Banerjee stated.

Tata Communications share price

A day after Tata Communications announced its Q2 Results of 2024-25, the shares of the company are expected to be in news today. In the July-September quarter, Tata Communications reported a 2.98 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 227.23 crore. The firm’s net profit went down 31.73 per cent against Rs 332.84 crore reported in the first quarter of the current fiscal. Revenues were recorded at Rs 5,767.3 crore.

“Our order book has expanded with some key strategic wins across markets. The adoption of our Digital Fabric (Network, Cloud and Security, Interaction and IoT) by enterprises continues to drive our optimism about future growth,” Tata Communications Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer A S Lakshminarayanan said.

Meanwhile, the shares of Tata Consumer, ICICI Lombard, ZEE, ICICI Lombard,  Jio Financial, Tata Consumer will be in focus as the companies will announce their second quarter earnings today.
