Everything in World Ayurveda Congress to have “Uttarakhandi” imprint

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has emphasized that every aspect of the World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo 2024, from food to entertainment, will reflect a ‘Uttarakhandi’ touch. “Uttarakhand is the land of AYUSH. It is our good fortune that this world-class event of Ayurveda is being held in Uttarakhand. I hope that the brainstorming of subject experts will awaken the world in the field of Ayurveda. Regarding the event’s organization, CM Dhami noted its importance for Uttarakhand: “This occasion will showcase deep thought and discussions on Ayurveda while promoting Uttarakhand’s culture to the nation and the world.”

Measures have been taken to highlight hill culture

The event is set for December 12-15 at the Parade Ground in Dehradun. Measures have been taken to highlight hill culture. Ayush Secretary Ravinath Raman mentioned that delegates will experience Uttarakhand’s culture through the food and cultural programs. “Hilly dishes will be served to delegates from India and abroad, with a four-day menu prepared for this. Cultural programs, including Mangal Gayan and Chholiya dances, are scheduled on two dates,” stated the Chief Minister.

Ideas and discussions at the global event will resonate not just in India but worldwide

Calling Uttarakhand, the land of Yoga and Ayush, CM Dhami described the 10th World Ayurveda Congress as an effort to elevate the state’s identity in Ayurveda. He expressed hope that the ideas and discussions at the global event will resonate not just in India but worldwide. During the event, the message of ‘Sarve Santu Niramayah’ will be promoted. CM Dhami also reflected on the significance of Ayurveda and Ayush during the COVID-19 pandemic.
