Political row rages over PM Modi’s photo on railway tickets featuring ‘Operation Sindoor’

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released a new song celebrating the success of Operation Sindoor, India’s recent military strikes targeting terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and inside Pakistan. Sung by BJP MP Manoj Tiwari, the 5.25-minute track hails the Indian Armed Forces and their “swift and decisive action” and is getting huge attention on social media.

The song skillfully blends patriotic fervour with a clear message of strength and resolve. It vividly portrays the courage and sacrifices of India’s Army, Navy, and Air Force, highlighting the might and determination behind Operation Sindoor. However, it emphasises that the operation is not yet concluded, and serves as a clear warning to India’s adversaries against any further acts of aggression.

30 लाख सैनिक के पीछे, 150 करोड़ हिंदुस्तानी,
नाप देंगे जब चाहेंगे, दुश्मन में कितना है पानी!

The lyrics of the song boldly proclaim India’s military strength and capability, stating, “Behind 30 lakh soldiers, there are 150 crore Indians. Whenever we want, we will measure how much water the enemy has! Look at the sign, this sign… The story has just begun!” The song also directly mentions Prime Minister Narendra Modi, declaring, “Tumne kiya hai shuru, toh dekh lo Modi karega khatam kahani” (You started it, now see how Modi will finish the story).

Adding to the song’s impact is the promotional poster featuring Manoj Tiwari in army fatigues alongside Colonel Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, two of the women officers who played crucial roles in Operation Sindoor. Produced by Tiwari’s wife, Surabhi Tiwari, the song’s release strategically complements the BJP’s ongoing Tiranga Yatra, a nationwide campaign celebrating the military strikes and promoting patriotism across India’s diverse population.
