Patna: Former Bihar Deputy CM and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday announced the birth of his second child. Yadav shared the news on his social media page with the photo of the newborn.

Sharing the message on X, he wrote, “Good Morning! The wait is finally over! So grateful, blessed, and pleased to announce the arrival of our little boy. Jai Hanuman!” Tejaswi and his wife Rajshree welcomed their first child Katyayani in 2023 during Navratri.

The couple got married in 2021

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader married his long-time friend Rachel Godinho (known as Rajshree Yadav after marriage) in 2021 in a low-key affair under Hindu rituals. Both Rajshree and Tejashwi studied together at DPS school in RK Puram, New Delhi.

The good news in the Yadav family came amid news over the expulsion of Tejasjwi’s elder brother, Tej Pratap, from the family. Reacting to the development, the former Deputy CM had noted that while his elder brother is an adult and has the right to make his own decisions, his father’s decision on Tej Pratap’s expulsion stands.

Notably, Tej Pratap Yadav was expelled from “party and family” after his photo with a woman was uploaded on his Facebook page. However, Tej Pratap Yadav claimed that his Facebook page had been hacked, but his father took to X and said that the party could not ignore “moral values”.
