More than 200 participants from various fields of work enthusiastically participated in the program.

The first session began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony at 1:30 pm. In his welcome address, BAPS senior saint Narayanmunidas Swami said, “While words affect our intellectual side, emotions touch our heart. Words shape individuals and give direction to society. It is said in our ancient scriptures that ‘word evidence is the most influential. Writing is a reflection of our culture, thoughts and literature. The prosperity of any civilization is measured by its literature. For effective writing, it is necessary to take inspiration from sages like Vedavyas and poets like Kalidasa. True writing is possible only when it is inspired from within and enriched with experiences.”

After this, Gyanananddas Swami talked about various writing forms like formal writing, creative writing, personal diary writing and press releases and explained the importance of content writing and the basic principles of effective writing.
