New Delhi: Amid the ongoing 15-year-old feud, Honey Singh took a sly dig at rapper Badshah for his rap skills and lyrics. He shared a video of Badshah on his Instagram Stories and moked the lyrics he was rapping on. The video is from the upcoming singing reality show, Indian Idol 15, where he will be seen as a judge along with Vishal Dadlani and Shreya Ghoshal.
Both Honey Singh and Badshah were part of a music group, Mafia Mundeer. The group also had Raftaar and Lil Golu as its members. The group was popular for popularising rap and hip-hop music in India. However, in 2009, creative differences and personal conflicts grew, leading to the dismantling of the group. Over the years, they took a dig at each other through social media posts and interviews, hinting at their strained relationship.
Honey Singh trolls Badshah
A promo of Indian Idol 15 judges was dropped by Sony TV on their official Instagram handle where Badshah can be seen rapping. The lyrics that Badshah was singing are, “India ke khaano ki duniya mein mashhoor, Delhi ke Gol Gappe, Mumbai se Bhel Puri… 9Poular Indian snacks, Delhi’s Golgappa, Mumbai’s Bhel Puri).”
Honey Singh shared the video on his Instagram Stories and wrote, “”Aise lyrics likhwane hai bass taqdeer ban jayegi meri”, accompanied by a laughing emoji.
