New Delhi: RJ Simran Singh, a popular radio personality and Instagram influencer, was found dead at an apartment in Sector-47 of Gurugram with the police suspecting it to be a case of suicide.
Her body was found hanging in an apartment in the city and an investigation has been launched in this connection to ascertain further information, NDTV reported citing police.
Simran Singh, 25, popularly known as RJ Simran to her millions of fans, last posted a reel on her Instagram profile on December 13. She has more than 6 lakh followers on Instagram.
She was found dead in her apartment in Gurugram’s Sector 47, with the police stating that a friend who had been staying with her called authorities.
As the news of her death spread, tributes poured in on social media with people expressing condolences and mourning the loss of a popular personality.
Her body has been returned to her family, according to the police. Originally from the Jammu region, she was affectionately referred to by her fans as “Jammu Ki Dhadkan” (Heartbeat of Jammu).
