RSS backs Operation Sindoor, urges citizens to support armed forces and stay united

New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Friday extended its full support to Indian government and armed forces for the military action taken under Operation Sindoor, which was launched in response to the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

In an official statement, RSS praised the Central leadership and the armed forces for taking strong and timely action against Pakistan-backed terrorists and their support networks. The organisation said that this step has boosted the morale and self-respect of the entire country, especially after the killing of unarmed Hindu tourists.

RSS leaders Mohan Bhagwat (sarsanghchalak) and Dattatreya Hosabale (sarkaryavah) said that such military action is not only necessary but inevitable for ensuring national security. They added that in this time of crisis, the country stands united with the government and the armed forces.

The statement also condemned the attacks by the Pakistani army on religious places and civilian areas along the Indian border. The RSS expressed deep sorrow for the families affected by these “inhuman” and “savage” attacks and offered heartfelt condolences.

Appealing to all citizens, the RSS urged people to strictly follow the instructions of the government and local administration. The organisation also asked everyone to remain alert and not fall into the trap of anti-national elements trying to disturb social harmony.

They also urged citizens to show patriotism and be ready to assist the army and civil authorities whenever needed, in order to protect the unity and security of the nation.
