Rajasthan: 2-year-old girl falls into borewell while playing, rescue operation on

New Delhi: In a shocking incident that has come to light from Rajasthan, a two-year-old girl fell into a borewell in Bandikui of Dausa on Wednesday evening. A rescue operation has been launched on a war-footing to save the girl, identified as Neeru. Sources said that Neeru fell into the borewell accidentally, while playing.

A civil defence team was dispatched from Jaipur for the operation. A CCTV footage has surfaced in which Neeru can be seen moving in the borewell. Oxygen is being sent to Neeru through a borewell pipe. Rescue operation is underway. The administration dug in the surrounding area with three JCBs to rescue the toddler. The administration is on its toes as the operation continues.

Dausa District Collector Devendra Kumar has also reached the site of the incident. Police Sub-inspector Bharat Lal said that Neeru fell into the borewell while playing in the evening. The girl is reportedly stuck at around 20 to 25 feet in the borewell.
