New Delhi: A TikTok content creator is facing criticism for alleged child neglect after sharing videos of her life in a one-bedroom apartment with her six children and husband. In the viral video, she is shown rearranging furniture in the small, crowded space to make more room, as the couple is expecting another child. She captioned the video, “When you have one bedroom with six people, a ‘bedroom’ becomes more essential than dining room.”
In the video, she discussed efforts to rearrange the house to create more privacy for her children as they grow older. Despite the cramped space, she expressed gratitude, saying the family has lived there for over three years. Her children are shown helping arrange items across the cluttered room, which has two large mattresses on the floor and a small cot for a baby. The family also has a cat. She added, “We teach our kids to care for what they have. We keep praying and pushing for the growth we want.”

The video has sparked backlash, with viewers criticising the parents for owning several TVs and a PlayStation 5 while their children sleep on foam pads on the floor. Screenshots from other videos show her asking followers to help her account go viral to improve their financial situation so that she could have more children. “My hubby said if I can take our account viral and change our financial situation he will give me as many babies as I want,” she wrote.
One viewer reacted angrily, calling it “a horrific existence for her children”. Another criticised her for having a seventh child when she “can’t even afford beds for her six kids.” Other users urged authorities to take action, with some suggesting Child Protective Services (CPS) should step in to help her children.
