Patanjali is not only dominant in retail but also in wholesale business, it sells these products

You must have heard about products like Dant Kanti, Gulab Sherbet, Cow Ghee or Honey under the brand name ‘Patanjali’. All these are the portfolio of retail products of Baba Ramdev’s company Patanjali Foods, but do you know that this company also manufactures various products which dominate the wholesale market. If seen, Patanjali is the market leader in these products of the B2B segment.

In fact, in the year 2019, Baba Ramdev’s company Patanjali Ayurveda acquired Madhya Pradesh’s leading company Ruchi Soya Industries. After this, the FMCG business of Patanjali Group was gradually handed over to this company and a new company named Patanjali Foods was formed, but Ruchi Soya’s wholesale business continued to flourish as before.

Ruchi Soya Industries was the first company in the country to start making soybean edible oil. This company set up the first soybean processing unit in the country and also started making soybean byproducts. The company’s ‘Mahakosh’ brand soybean oil is already a well-known name among the people. The company retails soya vadi and other soya products under the brand name Nutrela.
