Tirunelveli: A shocking incident of physical abuse has come to light at a private NEET coaching center in Tirunelveli, where the owner, Jalal Ahmed, was caught on camera brutally beating students with bamboo sticks and throwing shoes. The disturbing footage, which has gone viral, shows Ahmed indiscriminately hitting students, causing injuries and bleeding.

According to reports, the incident occurred at Jalneet Training Center near Tirunelveli New Bus Stand. Ahmed allegedly punished students for not removing their shoes properly at the door and for other minor infractions. Students were forced to line up and receive physical punishment, with some suffering injuries to their legs and thighs.

The Melapalayam police and the Tirunelveli District Child Protection Unit have launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities took action after the video was released on social media, sparking widespread outrage and condemnation.

Jalal Ahmed has been arrested and a case registered against him for physical assault and torture. The incident has raised concerns about student safety and well-being, with many calling for stricter regulations in educational institutions.

The video footage shows a student being hit with a shoe for not removing their shoes properly, while others are beaten with a bamboo stick. Students were also reportedly scolded aggressively and humiliated in front of their peers.

The Tirunelveli District Child Protection Unit has initiated an inquiry into the incident, and further action is expected. The incident serves as a disturbing reminder of the need for greater accountability and protection for students in educational institutions.
