Pakistan violates ceasefire across LoC for fifth successive day

New Delhi: The Pakistani Army once again resorted to unprovoked firing cross the Line of Control (LoC) on the intervening night of April 28 and April 29. The firing took place near the border areas of Kupwara,Baramulla districts as well as in Akhnoor sector. The Indian army has given befitting response. This was the fifth successive day Pakistani forces violated ceasefire.

“During the night of 28-29 April 2025, the Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked small arms firing across the Line of Control in areas opposite Kupwara and Baramulla districts, as well as the Akhnoor sector. The Indian Army responded in a measured and effective manner to the provocation: Indian Army,” news agency ANI said.
