Bihar: BJP rests speculations on CM face, backs Nitish for next year’s elections

New Delhi: The Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal (United) has withdrawn its support from the N Biren Singh-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Manipur. With just a single MLA in the state, JDU has decided to sit on the Opposition benches. While this development will have no impact on the government’s stability, it is a strong message because the JDU is the BJP’s key ally at the Centre and in Bihar.
