MP couple go missing in Shillong, probe on

Shillong: In a shocking incident, Raja Raghuvanshi and his wife have gone missing days after visiting Shillong for their honeymoon. The newlywed couple from Indore got married on May 11 and went to Shillong on May 20. The transport businessman and his wife have gone missing since the day after.

According to Raja’s relatives, the couple had called some of his relatives and friends on May 20 and informed them that he and his wife were roaming around in different parts of the city . However, after some time, his phone got switched off. Since then, there has been no information about the couple. After getting no information from the couple, the family started looking for them through Google Maps. They even reached the location where Raja and his wife rented Activa.

Couple went missing from Shillong

The concerned person then informed that the couple had gone missing from Shillong. While searching for them in a tourist spot, their rented activa was found lying some distance away. After this, the relatives and family members of the couple reached the local police station with the complaint.

In the meantime, the Indore Police commissioner was also informed of the entire matter, following which a police team was sent to Shillong for search operations. Both the Indore and Shillong Police are working in tandem to find out the couple. Notably, during the probe, the family members of the couple came to know that similar incidents had happened in the past with other couples at the place where the couple had gone for a walk. The efforts are on to find out the couple and the exact cause of the incident.
