BJP people love Ravana too much: KejriwalWhat Kejriwal said about Ramyana and Ravana

BJP’s remarks come in response to Kejriwal’s yesterday comment where he said that BJP workers were like golden deer of Ramayana who were trying to ‘trap’ poor slum dwellers of Delhi by sweet promises.

“Arvind Kejriwal has been exposed now. He tries to become Hindu and devotee of Lord Ram ahead of elections. His statement on Ramayana has revealed that he lacks knowledge about Hinduism. His statement that Sita asked Laxman to go and get the golden deer, is insulting. He is trying to blame Sita, as she sent Laxman as she was worried about the safety of Lord Ram,” said BJP MP Manoj Tiwari.

BJP leader Pradeep Bhandari said Kejriwal has limited knowledge of Ramayana.

“Arvind Kejriwal is a ‘Chunavi’ Hindu. Appeasement runs in his and his boss Rahul Gandhi’s veins. He has little knowledge of Ramayana and could not recite it properly,” said Bhandari.

BJP people love Ravana too much: Kejriwal

Hours after BJP’s scathing remarks, Kejriwal reiterated his comments on Ramayana and claimed that the saffron party was so much hurt with what he said against Ravana. The former Delhi CM said that people living in slums will lose their homes if BJP comes to power in Delhi.

“Yesterday I said that Ravana came as a golden deer and Mother Sita wanted that deer. They are saying that it was not Ravana (who came as a deer) but it was demon Marichi instead. The entire BJP is protesting outside my house and asking why I insulted Ravana. They love Ravana so much. They are of a demonic nature. I want to warn the people living in slums and poor sections of Delhi that these people will gulp you down like demons if they come to power,” Kejriwal said on Tuesday.

What Kejriwal said about Ramyana and Ravana

On Monday while warning people living in Delhi slums, Kejriwal said that BJP workers are like the ‘golden deer’ of Ramayana as they will come to them and snatch their homes while indulging them in sweet talks. Kejriwal said BJP was trying to pretend as well wishers of poors with their leaders organising stays in slums ahead of elections.

“Lord Ram was exiled for 14 years, so one day he went to the forest to arrange for food, left Mata Sita in the hut and told Laxman that you will protect Sita Maa, meanwhile, Ravan came in the form of a golden deer. Sita said to Laxman that I want this deer… Laxman went and Ravan kidnapped Sita Maa, these BJP people are also like that golden deer, do not get involved in their trap,” Kejriwal said on Monday.
