Principal of Government Engineering College, Jamui Prof (Dr) Ashish Kumar, reached another milestone in his career as his Research work has reached a milestone of 6,000 citations and i10 index 102 in Google Scholar. This is highest for any Faculty ever of Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education across 38 Engineering colleges and 46 Polytechnics for Bihar Engineering University.
Professor Kumar have a vast 22 years of academic , administrative and research experience and recently also selected as commission Principal through Bihar University service commission in VKSU. To his credit he Guided 10 Ph.D Scholars and published more than 200 highly reputed Research Papers in esteemed Journals, 170 Book Chapters in International Books, 10 International Books publication and 2 patents.
His career is graced by several awards including Vice Chancellors Research Excellence award, Asia prominent Scientist award. He was recently invited to conduct Workshop by University of Brawijaya, Indonesia.
