New Delhi: ‘Swagat nahi karoge hamara’! This line by the superstar Salman Khan as Chulbul Panday in Dabangg became an iconic dialogue of Bollywood. It was welcomed with cheers, whistles, and claps in the theatres when the film was released in 2010. It’s been 14 years since then and even now, the excitement among the fans is the same when they hear this dialogue.
Salman Khan is all set to return as Chulbul Pandey but not in the Dabangg franchise but in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film, Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Akshay Kumar, and Arjun Kapoor.
Salman Khan to return as Chulbul Pandey
After several reports suggested that due to death threats by notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, the shoot has been cancelled, it was later confirmed that Salman Khan is all set to make dhamakedaar special appearance in Rohit Shetty’s directorial, Singham Again. His cameo marks Salman Khan’s entry in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe.
According to the Pinkvilla report, Salman is shooting for the special scene on Tuesday, October 22, in Mumbai’s Filmcity.
By shooting the cameo amid the danger looming over him, he keeps his promise to Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty of making a special appearance as Chulbul Pandey in Singham Again. He simply said, “The show must go on”. Rohit, who is known for thrilling action sequences, will surely show Salman in a swag-filled action mode.
About Singham Again
Singham Again has been described as the “modern-day interpretation of Ramayana”. The film also stars Ravi Kishan and Shweta Tiwari. The film is slated to release on November 1 and will have a mega box office clash with Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also stars Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, and Triptii Dimri.
