New Delhi: Reacting to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee fired salvos at BJP-ruled Centre and said, “Instead of creating communal tensions, please take care of the borders. Please take care of India. We love India, please save India from any disaster. Give justice to the people who have lost their loved ones.”
She made these remarks while visiting the riot-affected Murshidabad on Monday. She added, “Don’t play dirty politics; I am the last one to tolerate dirty politics. I have seen 10-12 Prime Ministers and worked with them. I want to tell the ‘acting’ Prime Minsiter to take care of the borders instead of taking care of communal riots. When you are in the chair, you cannot divide the people…”

Murshidabad violence ‘orchestrated and well-planned’
Alleging conspiracy in Murshidabad violence, the TMC supremo said that the incident was “orchestrated and well-planned”. She said, “I came to meet the victims but why have they been secretly taken away. There is some conspiracy in this.”
The CM pointed out: “When I carry out any political activity, for me Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian all are equal. I don’t want people of any religion to get attacked. The National Commission for Women arrived here within a day of the incident. They did not go to Manipur, UP or Rajasthan.”
“This incident has been orchestrated and it was well planned. Bengal will not tolerate those people who have provoked this violence. I am not against anyone but I am against riots,” she underlined.
