YRKKH written update: The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai, scheduled to air on October 24, 2024, begins with Abhira trying to explain to Armaan that she was going to tell him about the pregnancy sooner, but did not have the chance to do so. Armaan remains silent and helps her get inside the car. After this, recalls all the times when he noticed Abhira’s weird behaviour in the past, but she insisted that she was fine. Once Abhira is strapped inside the car, Armaandistances himself from her. He stands in the rain while Abhira requests him to not do so. Armaan desperately explains that he feels frustrated about Abhira’s decision to hide such a big thing from him. He adds that he will maintain a little distance from her as he might say something hurtful in anger.
Armaan asks Abhira about when she found out about her pregnancy. Abhira responds that it was the day when Kaveri was attacked. Upset at the situation, Armaan demands a reason for Abhira’s secrecy. Abhira explains that she had a surprise in store for him, but nothing went as planned. She requests Armaan to get back inside the car and go back home where Kaveri can explain everything to him. Taken aback by this, Armaan gets more upset that Kaveri knows about his child before him. He feels betrayed by Abhira and says that her decision to hide this from him made him look like the bad guy in front of his entire family.
Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai
Like a light switch, something flips in Armaan as she approaches Abhria asking if there are any complications in the pregnancy. Abhira avoids the question and pleads with him to go home with her first. Armaan spots the reports in Abhira’s bag and learns that this baby could end up costing her life. Abhira hugs Armaan and assures him that she will be fine. She promises that his love and Kaveri’s blessings are all she needs to get through this tough time.
When Abhira and Armaan reach home, she approaches Kaveri asking her to speak to Armaam about her secret. However, Kaveri stands confused as she confesses she does not remember anything from the night before due to her strong medication. Abhira begins to explain but Armana intervenes and assures Kaveri that they will sort this out by themselves.
After this, Armaan confronts Abhira and explains that he cannot let her risk her life. Abhira hands him the sonography report and reminds him that the child in her belly is theirs, and she is not letting it go. Abhira urges that everything will be fine. But, Armaan remains haunted by the memories of a woman who died during childbirth. He reiterates that he will not lose Abhira because of the baby. He frantically calls the doctor and asks when they can terminate the child. Abhira begs him to stop but Armaan remains adamant that he cannot watch Abhira risk her life for him or his family. He reminds Abhira that he cannot let the child go through the same things he went through, a childhood without a mother. He runs out of the room leaving Abhira in tears.
Elsewhere, Armaan breaks down as he holds out the sonography report. Speaking to his unborn child, he apologises that he cannot risk Abhira’s life to bring them into this world. Just then, Manish spots Armaan in tears and asks him about it. Armaan quickly hides the sonography report and admits that he cannot reveal anything just yet, but assures him that he will always stand by Abhira’s side.
