IBPS PO Prelims 2024 today; Don’t carry these items at exam centre

IBPS PO Prelims 2024: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct the Probational Officers (PO) preliminary exam 2024 today, October 20. The shift one of PO prelims will begin at 9 am, the exam is scheduled to be held in four shifts- 9 am- 10 am, 11.30 am- 12.30 pm, 2 pm- 3 PM, and 4.30 pm- 5.30 pm.

The reporting time for the IBPS PO prelims shift one is between 8- 8:30 am. Shift-wise, candidates should report at the exam centre half an hour to one hour before the exam. The candidates should also carry admit card/ hall ticket at the IBPS PO exam centres and other relevant documents.

Meanwhile, candidates should not carry electronic gadgets, metal items at the exam centre. Here are the list of banned/ restricted items-

Electronic gadgets: The candidates should not carry these electronic devices at the exam centres- smart phones, bluetooth devices, digital watch, wireless set, pagers, other gadgets

Metal items: Metal items such as bangles, jewelries, ear rings, bracelets, wristlets are restricted at the exam centre

Prohibitory items: Food, beverages, Cadbury, chips, paper chits are restricted at the exam centre

Don’t cheat: The candidates should not cheat or take any illegal means to clear the exam. Taking unlawful means at the exam will compel the exam conducting authority, IBPS to take legal action against the candidate.

Essential items

The essential items to carry at the exam centre are admit card, PAN card, passport size pictures, water bottles, other items.

The PO Prelims exam was earlier held on October 19. The candidates who had appeared for PO prelims analysed the paper as moderately difficult, they can review the paper through unofficial answer key available on various portals.
