New Delhi: A shocking incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi district where a boy died by suicide after getting frustrated over his girlfriend’s cold attitude towards him.
Following a quarrel, the girlfriend had blocked the boy on phone and status. The boyfriend hanged himself after posting a reel of suicide on Instagram. The boy was extremely upset after his girlfriend blocked him on Messenger, WhatsApp and mobile phone. The boy had been sharing reels of his sadness and frustration on Instagram for a long time. When his hope was shattered, he shared the reel of dying by hanging on Instagram and took the extreme step.
The entire case took place in Madhoganj police station area of Hardoi. Priyanshu Kushwaha, 20, was in love with a girl. The girl whom Priyanshu was in love with had blocked him from his mobile phone and status a few days ago. The boy’s family said that after this, he started feeling lost. He later died by suicide by hanging himself from a mango tree. After the incident, when the family checked the phone of Priyanshu, many things related to the incident came to fore.
He posted sad songs on Instagram
On checking his Instagram, it was found that the boy had been posting sad songs for a long time. In one reel, he is seen writing the girl’s name with his blood. Priyanshu, who was badly in love with his girlfriend, posted reels expressing his sadness for several days before dying by suicide. He took his life after posting a reel of dying by hanging a noose on Instagram. Before taking the extreme step, Priyanshu wrote on his status and reel, “Goodbye friends”.
Priyanshu’s father said that his son loved a girl. He used to talk to her on phone often. He used to help out a lot in the household chores. Priyanshu had been quiet for some days. He mostly preferred to stay alone. After the incident, it was revealed that his girlfriend had stopped talking to him.
Additional Superintendent of Police of Hardoi, Nripendra Singh said that the body of a 20-year-old youth was found hanging from a noose in the garden. Before dying by suicide, the youth posted a noose on the reel and wrote ‘Goodbye friends’. The matter is related to love. Investigation is conducted through the evidence found in the mobile phone and the complaint lodged by the relatives. The body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem examination. Necessary action is being taken by the cops.
