Symbol of Guru-disciple tradition, ‘Guru Purnima’ festival was celebrated in the presence of Founder President of Patanjali Yogapeeth Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj and General Secretary Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj at Patanjali Wellness, Yogapeeth-2. It was celebrated with faith and dedication in the Yoga Bhavan Auditorium situated in Haridwar. During the program, Swami Ramdev Ji and Acharya Balkrishna Ji exchanged garlands with each other and wished each other on the occasion of Guru Purnima.

On this occasion, Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj said that Guru Purnima is the festival of establishing Sanatan Dharma as Yuga Dharma. It is the pride of India’s Guru-disciple tradition, it is a festival which brings to life the Rishi tradition, Vedic tradition and Sanatan tradition and gives them fulfilment. He said that the Vedas, Rishis and Guru Dharma also include the national religion. Addressing the students of Patanjali University, he said that you have to live in Rishitva and Divinity, only then will a new revolution take place in the world.

He said that today there is a fight for supremacy going on in the whole world. Supremacy should be of truth, yoga, spirituality and justice. Due to various reasons, there are different types of ideological frenzy, religious frenzy, materialism etc. in the whole world. Intellectual territory, religious territory, political, economic territory, medical territory, educational territory are going on. In such a situation, the whole world needs education from India. Medical, economic, social and political direction will be provided and India will be established as a world guru.

On this occasion Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj said that Guru Purnima festival is a festival to showcase the Guru-disciple tradition but its meaning is only when we have complete faith in our Guru and follow the path shown by him. Follow the rules given by him and lead your life on the right path. He said that India will become a world guru only through the Guru-Shishya tradition, Yoga, Ayurveda, Sanatan and Vedic knowledge. In your life, take shelter and support of such an ideal Guru or great man who will pave the way for your progress.

On this occasion, the Executive Chairman of Indian Education Board, N.P. Singh, while paying his obeisance to Sanatan, said that this divine environment of Guru Purnima is amazing. With the blessings of Swami Ramdev Ji and Acharya Balkrishna Ji, a holistic revolution in education is being carried out through Patanjali.

In the Kanwar fair, arrangements for an unbroken bhandaar have been made for the devotees of Lord Shiva through Patanjali Yogapeeth, in which Swami Ji Maharaj distributed food to the devotees. On this occasion, the service heads, trustees, unit heads, department heads, in-charges and students of all the units associated with Patanjali Yogapeeth were present.
