New Delhi: Amid ongoing tensions with Pakistan, the Centre has decided to send a number of all party delegations in different countries to expose Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. The decision was taken in the wake of Operation Sindoor to destroy nine terror camps of Pakistan-based terrorist groups Lashkar-e-Taiba(LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) post-Pahalgam terror attack
The delegations will consist of leaders of both ruling and Opposition parties. While the Centre has already discussed the names, some parties have also given their go-ahead for the move. Former ministers from different parties will also be part of these delegations. The Centre has selected four members of the Congress among other leaders.
The MPs from different parties like BJP, Congress, TMC, DMK, NCP (SP), JDU, BJD, Shiv Sena (UBT), CPI(M), and some others will be part of the delegations. These delegations will leave the country after May 22 for different countries.

There is however no clarity on the exact number of delegations or their members, as per the news agency PTI, more than 30 MPs could be included in the entire exercise. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) will brief the MPs before they depart in different countries .
While ex-Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid has been asked to lead a delegation of seven MPs to south and southeast Asia, Baramati MP Sule may lead a delegation to the Middle East and Africa. Similarly, Tharoor may lead a delegation to the US, the agency added.
