Foresters capture fifth man-eating wolf in Bahraich; one still on the prowl

Bahraich: In a major breakthrough, forest department officials on Tuesday managed to nab the fifth man-eating wolf from jungles in Bahraich. So far authorities have caged five wolves while one still remains on the prowl in the region.

According to the authorities, at least 10 people have fallen prey to man-eating wolves in the area.

While informing about the success, DFO Ajeet Pratap Singh said that the department would be able to capture the remaining one wolf very soon.

“We have caught the fifth wolf…One is left, we will catch that wolf also soon…We are trying our best every day to catch the left wolf,” said Singh.
