New Delhi: The Super Sunday is all set for the Pro Kabaddi fans as Jaipur Pink Panthers will take on Tamil Thalaivas in the first match of Super Sunday. Both teams have won two matches each out of three matches. Thalaivas was unbeaten in the league but in their last match, they couldn’t hold their nerves and lost the match by just two points against Patna Pirates.
Arjun Deshwal led team Panthers also got their first defeat in season 11. Deshwal made Super 10 in the first two matches but in the last match, he just got 3 raid points which shows that Panther’s raiding is fully dependent on Deshwal. The Panthers also had a solid record against Thalaivas as both teams faced each other 10 times where six times Panthers were victorious and on just two occasions Thalaivas got the victory.
In the second match of the night, UP Yoddhas will be against Gujarat Giants in the Gachibowl Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad on October 27, Sunday. Yoddhas are currently in the second position in the points table. Yoddhas also came from a loss against Bengal Warriorz, Bharat made a Super 10 in the match but except him, no other player took responsibility in the game.
Giants are holding the position in the bottom half of the table and will be looking to move midway in the table. They are also coming from a 6-point defeat against U Mumba. Gujarat also had a devastating record against Yoddhas. Both teams met 11 times in PKL, where Yoddhas won the game seven times and Giants won only two times.
