Fire breaks out at scrap metal warehouse in Pune’s Hadapsar area

Fire breaks out at scrap metal warehouse in Pune’s Hadapsar area

Pune: A fire broke out at a scrap metal warehouse in the Hadapsar area of Pune. The Pune Fire Brigade is currently on-site, working to contain the blaze. Firefighting efforts are still underway, and there have been no reports of injuries so far.

Pramod Sonavane, the Fire Officer, said that the fire was successfully contained with help from fire trucks stationed at Hadapsar Kale Borate Nagar, BT Kavade, and the Central Fire Station. Sonavane also said that no casualties or injuries have been reported and that cooling measures are in progress to avoid any risk of re-ignition. An investigation into the fire’s origin is currently underway.
