Explosions in Samba, Pakistani drones intercepted; reports

Explosions were heard in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba even as Indian Air Defence reportedly intercepted Pakistani drones. This comes amid a complete blackout in Jammu, as mandated by the authorities.

After the incident, a complete blackout has been enforced in Akhnoor. According to news reports, Pakistan is sending drones for spying, as many of them have cameras on them. Such drones are sent to know the position of the Indian air defence system.

Colonel Sophia, in a joint conference of the Ministry of External Affairs and the armed forces, stated that Pakistan sent around 500 drones into the bordering Indian states on Thursday. The drones targeted major military settlements in India.
