Delhi’s next CM to be announced on Feb 16? BJP likely to hold legislative council meeting later this week

New Delhi: Amid the continuation of suspense over new Chief Minister of Delhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to hold a meeting of its Legislative council on February 16. The party is all set to form the government in Delhi after a thumping win in recently concluded Assembly polls. While the party won 48 of 70 seats, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) could win in 22 seats.

As per sources to TV9 Network, the leader of the laegislative council will be chosen in this meeting who will the automatically become the next Chief Minister. Currently, speculation are going around on a number of BJP leaders who may become the next chief minister.
