Priyanka Gandhi highlighted the difficulties in securing funds from both the central and state governments to address the human-animal conflict. She assured that she would keep pushing for a resolution. “We need increased funding for better monitoring, improved safety measures, and protection for forest guards, watchmen, and others involved in tackling this issue,” she said.

Later in the day, she is scheduled to attend another meeting in the Thiruvambadi assembly constituency in Kozhikode district.

According to Congress sources, Priyanka Gandhi will meet booth-level party leaders in Wandoor and Nilambur assembly constituencies on Monday. Additionally, she will visit the families of people who lost their lives due to attacks by wild animals.
