While every other manufacturer already rolled out special editions for the festive season, Citroen seems to have gotten the memo quite late. They have now added the C3 Aircross Xplorer edition which features some additional packs over top of the vehicle and starts from Rs 24,000.
The Xplorer Edition is available with two variants of the C3 Aircross, one being the middle Plus variant and the other being the top of the line Max variant. The Xplorer edition will give you a dashcam, footwell lighting, illuminated sill plates, hood garnish, decals, and khaki colour inserts. One can also get rear seat entertainment screens for additional cost.
The Xplorer Edition is another Rs 24,000 over the price of the car and Rs 51,700 for the optional pack which includes the rear entertainment screens. The C3 Aircross has a starting price of Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The C3 Aircross was recently updated with some much needed features and comes with either a 1.2L NA petrol engine which produces 82 bhp and 115 Nm of torque and is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission or a 1.2L turbo petrol engine which produces 109 bhp and 205 Nm of torque and is paired to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The updated version comes with features like automatic climate control, projector LED headlamps, and folding ORVMs.
