The top specification Performance variant gets the most discount. It gets a cash discount of Rs 2 lakh and BYD will also offer a 3-year maintenance and service package which costs Rs 50,000.
The base Dynamic variant which is also one of the more popular variants doesn’t get any discounts. The Seal is priced as follows:
- BYD Seal Dynamic: Rs 41 lakh (ex-showroom)
- BYD Seal Premium: Rs 45.55 lakh (ex-showroom)
- BYD Seal Performance: Rs 53 lakh (ex-showroom)
The base Dynamic variant features a single motor powering the rear wheels. It produces 201 bhp and 210 Nm of torque. It gets a 61.44 kWh battery pack and has an estimated range of 510 kms. The Premium variant gets 308 bhp and 360 Nm of torque and has a 82.56 kWh battery pack which gives it an estimated range of 650 kms. The top spec Performance version gets a dual motor setup with AWD and produces 523 bhp and 670 Nm of torque. It also has a 82.56 kWh battery pack which gives it an estimated range of 580 kms.
The discounts make the Seal an even more lucrative offer. It was priced quite competitively from the start and comes to be cheaper than the Hyundai IONIQ 5 which is priced from Rs 46.05 lakh (ex-showroom) and also the Kia EV6 which is priced from Rs 60.97 lakh (ex-showroom).
