Brixton Motorcycles Coming To India In November: Bookings Open

Brixton announced its arrival in the Indian market in April. Brixton is an Austria based brand will enter with four motorcycles and is one of the most popular brands in Germany and Austria. Their bikes are relatively affordable and they will officially open shops in November and have started taking bookings for motorcycles with a booking amount of Rs 2,999.

The company will enter the market with a JV with KAW Veloce Motors Pvt. Ltd. and will collectively produce motorcycles at their new facility in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. They will be available in 13 cities initially, which will turn to 15 by the end of the year and they plan to expand their network by 50 by next year.

What Motorcycles Will Brixton Launch In India?

To start with Brixton will launch four products. These will be the Crossfire 500X and Crossfire 500XC, both of which are powered by a 486cc parallel twin engine which produces 46 bhp and 43 Nm of torque. The 500X came back in 2019 while the 500XC came in 2022 and is a more off-road focused version with longer travel suspension, different handlebars and off-road tyres. Both of these motorcycles will rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, the Continental GT 650 and recently launched BSA Goldstar.

Brixton will also launch their big bikes which are the Cromwell 1200 and Cromwell 1200X, both of which feature a 1,222cc parallel twin engine which produces 82 bhp and 108 Nm of torque. The 1200 is a road biased motorcycle while the 1200X is a more off-road biased one with more of a scrambler look.

Brixton will setup shop in Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Chennai, Nashik, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Cochin, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vapi, Panjim and Bengaluru.
