New Delhi: As the counting started for all the 70 Assembly seats in Delhi, early trends show an edge for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was just next to BJP, while Congress was distant third, as per the early trends from the counting of votes.

AAP and BJP are involved in a tight contest for Delhi, while Congress appears to have failed to make any significant presence in terms of seats, but it is likely to make damage to AAP in terms of vote percentage.

As per multiple TV news channels, early trends show former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia were trailing from New Delhi and Jangpura seats respectively. Trends also show that Chief Minister Atishi was also trailing from Kalkaji Assembly seats.
