New Delhi: This Diwali promises to be a big dhamaka at the box office with two much-anticipated releases this year, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again. The race at the box office has begun with the advance bookings of both the films and it will be interesting to see how both the movies flare at the ticket window.
On the first day of the advance bookings, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 sold 35,600 tickets, amassing Rs 75 lakh from 1900 shows at the box office. On the other hand, Rohit Shetty’s directorial, whose advance booking began just a few hours away, has sold around 5.6K tickets, amassing Rs 22 lakh from just 475 shows, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 vs Singham Again at the box office
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the pre-sales of both the movies, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham 3, is expected to explode at the ticket window with more shows and premium seats going up for ticket sales. Both films are also getting a 50:50 per cent ratio at the national chains and theatres are expected to be full, considering the long Diwali weekend.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again feud
Earlier, T-Series, the production house of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, filed a petition with the Competition Commission of India (CCI) and accused Singham Again makers of “unfair trade practices”. They further sought a fair distribution of screens.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, The film stars Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Rajpal Yadav, and Vijay Raaz, among others. It is the third installment in the horror-comedy franchise and marks the comeback of Vidya Balan as Monjulika.
About Singham 3
The latest installment in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, Singham Again, stars Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Akshay Kumar, and Arjun Kapoor. The film revolves around the theme of Ramayana.
Meanwhile, both the films will have a mega box office clash on November 1.
