Gurugram: Bharatiya idea of development is holistic and works in synergy with nature, however, the western idea of development is based on winning over the nature. Therefore, the western models of development have immensely damaged nature and environment. We need to develop our own models of development which the world could follow. These views were expressed by Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Sarsanghchalak, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

“Development is not possible without education, but this education should be Bharat-centric. We should take good ideas from around the world but never be blind followers. It is the responsibility of teachers to guide researchers for research which is based on the Bharatiya knowledge system,” said Dr. Bhagwat. He was speaking in the inaugural session of “VIVIBHA-2024: Vision for Viksit Bharat,” the three-day National Researchers Conference organized by “Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal- Yuva Aayam” at SGT University, Gurugram today. Dr. S. Somanath, Chairman- Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Nobel Laureate Dr. Kailash Satyarthi and other dignitaries enlightened the young researchers from various universities throughout the country on research for realising the vision of Viksit Bharat.
