Bengaluru family loses gold and cash while they were celebrating birthday

Bengaluru: A family lost 30 grams of gold ornaments and Rs 2.3 lakh cash which was kept on the first floor, while the family was celebrating a birthday on the ground floor of their house. Two miscreants were involved in the incident and it took place on Mangammanapalya Main Road, Madeena Nagar.

The two miscreants parked their scooter in front of the house of Akbar Shariff who is a textile store owner. The family was celebrating a birthday on the ground floor. According to the reports, the two miscreants tried entering several houses before they entered Akbar’s house at 6:25 pm.

When the duo came down towards their scooter there was a power cut in the area. With the intent of getting more valuables from the house the two miscreants entered the house again. When they entered the house Shariff’s uncle spotted them and inquired about who they were. The miscreants made a story that they were looking for a person named Gopal and left the house. Suspecting some discrepancy the family got alert. Thereafter Shariff’s wife noticed that gold was missing from the place.

Shariff filed a complaint to the Bandepalya Police. According to the complain, after the incident the family went out in search for the two miscreants but they couldn’t find them. He said that he don’t keep cash in his shop as there is a possibility of it getting stolen, but this time even his house was proved to be unsafe, as per a report by Times of India.
At the station it was found that three persons of the same area also had similar complaints. Shariff said that when he came back from the station he checked the CCTV camera of the building and found that they were carrying a backpack to keep the items. Later, the police informed that another person had complained that a bag was stolen from their house which was later found in a nearby park. The officer said that the duo enter other’s house calling random names and on finding that there’s no one in the house they enter there for stealing. The police assured that they are finding the clues and both will be arrested soon.
