New Delhi: Bala is back in the news and this time it is for his fourth wedding. On Wednesday (October 23), the actor got married to his maternal uncle’s daughter Kokila. The wedding took place in Ernakulam’s Kaloor Pavakulam temple in the presence of close family, friends and several people from the media.
Bala gets married for the fourth time
After the wedding ceremony was done, Bala interacted with the media and stated how his wife had been with him through thick and thin. “Kokila is my relative, and I wish my mother could have been here to celebrate with us. She’s 74 and in poor health, but she really wanted to attend. This marriage fulfils a dream that Kokila has held onto since her youth. We welcome any blessings from those who wish to give them. Although Kokila doesn’t speak Malayalam, she has been a great support to me as my health has improved over the past year,” he said.

As per Mathrubhumi, the actor hinted at his fourth wedding on Facebook some time back. “I also felt the need for support after my liver transplant. I had said in an earlier interview that I’m confident when I’m on my own. I am now taking care of my diet and taking medicine. My health has improved, and it is possible to move forward in good condition. Bless with your heart if you can,” he said. Reportedly, Bala had also revealed that his fourth marriage will furthermore safeguard his assets worth Rs 250 crore.
Bala’s previous relationships
For the unversed, actor Bala was married to singer Amrutha Suresh. However, the two got divorced drawing significant attention from media and fans alike. Reportedly, the actor was not allowed to talk about her and their daughter in public. Before that, he was married to Dr. Elizabeth Udayan.
He had already completed the legal proceedings related to his first marriage. His marriage with Elizabeth was not legally registered, so there were no legal obstacles to this wedding.
